contents: This book contains the collected poems by Joannes Antonides van der Goes, a follower of Joost van den Vondel, and much celebrated in those days. This volume is illustrated with engravings by the well-known artist Romeyn de Hooghe, responsible with Jan Luiken for the flourishing of Dutch book illustrations in the last decades of the 17th century. Rich booklovers often had illustrations coloured in, of which this plate is an example.
