contents: Title page of the catalogue of the Municipal Library of Amsterdam in 1622, at the time still housed in the Nieuwe Kerk. It has 125 more titles than the catalogue of 1612. The coats of arms are those of the four church wardens who had paid for the printing of the catalogue. To the left: Michiel Reiniersz Pauw (sheriff), and Pieter Jacobsz Elias (warden for the poor ). To the right: Gerard Hudde and Dirck Heynck (governor of the East India Company). Below is the coat of arms of Willem Eggert, who is honoured in the foreword as founder of the church and (wrongly) the library.
