contents: Gold-tooled red and black morocco binding. In the middle is a black shield with a picture of, perhaps, the patriarch Abraham. Above it are two hands bestowing a blessing. The name of this bindery, the Van Damme bindery, is derived from Pieter van Damme, an Amsterdam coin and medal expert, bookseller and publisher, for whom this bindery had executed many commissions.
