1. obsolete photographic reproduction process in planographic technique. The forme consists of a glass plate on which a hardened gelatine layer has been placed on which a photograph is projected. The layer is made more or less sensitive to moisture (ink)by exposure to light. It was used for small print runs. 2. print according to this process.
