Permanente bruikleencollectie van de Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen, Amsterdam, verworven in 1856. Voorheen de privé-collectie van de Nederlandse orientalist Joannes Willmet (1750-1835). De collectie bevat voornamelijk handschriften uit het Midden-Oosten.
