contents: This print and the following ones show the activity of the Kon. Stoom Steendrukkerij of Amand in the Warmoesstraat in Amsterdam. According to the text on the reverse of the cover of this series, Amand's was the largest lithographer's in the Netherlands. 'There are four steam cylinder presses in operation every day, twenty-three hand presses, paint mill, bronze cutting and stone grinding machines, etc., etc. The floor area of the various workshops amounts to 750 metres while personnel amounts to more than 100 persons. All orders, related to the trade, no matter how large or of whatever nature, will be carried out carefully and at reasonable prices.'
