contents: This booklet was part of Hoogeveen's method of learning to read, a series of booklets with which generations of children in the 20th century have learned to read. The degree of difficulty steadily increased but the texts themselves always remained very easy to understand. New items are primarily seen here such as the 'sch' and the suffixes 'ig' and 'lijk'. Each lesson consists of two pages and has drawings by the well-known illustrator Cornelis Jetses.
