contents: This print is taken from a later edition of the well-known Sinterklaasboek by Jan Schenkman, its first edition was published around 1850 while many reprints appeared until into the 20th century. The layout of the shop does not differ much from the one in the 1880 edition (q.v.), but the situation is certainly more lively.
