contents: Blind- and gold-tooled binding of black morocco with leather mosaic in various colours in broad panels. Friedrich Kolb was originally from Hachenburg, not far from Bonn. He settled in Amsterdam in 1834. This binding is among the best that were made in the Netherlands in the 1830-1840 period.
